Hi, I’m Katy…
Allow me to introduce myselves (I’m a multi-faceted personality): motivational speaker, mom, book nerd, geek, blogger, Organizer, Pinterest Manager, and absolutely enjoying every minute of it. I love spoiling my inner child, jumping in puddles, solving puzzles, and being outside. Oh, and I’m realizing a life-long dream… full-time RV living!.
To say I’m a Pinterest addict is no lie! I’ve been with it from early on. I love to help small businesses and entrepreneurs use the platform to its fullest potential to gain more clients.
In order to enjoy tiny-home style living, I’ve become an expert at creating systems and strategies for maximizing organization & productivity.
I am an everyday human, filled with hope, longing, trepidation, and excitement. I wish I could say my life is easy, that I have it all together. I would love to tell you that it’s normal, organized, and simple. But the truth is, it’s not. It’s hard. It’s dirty. It’s messy. I make mistakes and I’m not perfect. But I want my life to be authentic and real. I’d like to believe I’ve been an optimist since birth, I know I’m a romantic at heart, and each day I choose to be filled with joy. I’m not where I’d really like to be, but I am better than where I was.
I want to be surrounded by people who tell their stories from the trenches. By the ones who share their struggles within their marriages. Who share their fears for their kids. I love the people who admit their counters are clean only because they shoved all the stuff into a drawer. I need to be with people who don’t cringe when I tell the truth and don’t judge me when I fall. I want friendships that fill me up. Relationships that anchor me down. People that love for me for who I am.
Just like you, each day I’m faced with the challenge of a thousand choices in my life. Choices mold and create the life we want, or keep us trapped in a life we simply trudge through. Choices make us who we are. Choices define our way of thinking, and ultimately, our success or failure. And joy is one of those choices. Even in the hard times, we can choose joy.
Deciding to choose joy regardless of the circumstances is always a successful choice. When we find success in what we attempt, we create a mindset to embrace joy. Day by day, I’m choosing to find joy in the life I’ve been blessed with.
